Since the article is from Issue # 45, November 10, 2008, of AmericanFreePress.net (America's Last Real Newspaper), it's either a Message From the Future, or from a publication that believes in post-dating. Either way, I think it's a sign of things to come.
'Barack Obama isn't an American Citizen:' I'm Not Making This UpPresident George W. Bush is sincerely and profoundly hated by many Americans: to the point where an otherwise-sensible person I know called him "diabolical."
Those people aren't likely to see Obama as the Antichrist, but others are equally convinced that there's something terribly wrong with Barack Obama. There's the notion that he's a "Muslin," or a radical Muslim: definitely not 'American.'
That article from November 10, 2008, says: "...The behavior of Barack Obama the past six months has greatly increased the doubt that he is a 'natural born' American. Some backers went so far as to produce a phony 'Certification of Live Birth' from Hawaii and post it on a website....
"However, in addition to other discrepancies, the form upon which the data appeared, showing Obama's birth as August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, was printed on a form 'revised 11/01.' The certificate’s number was blocked out (upper right).
"His paternal grandmother has sworn that she was present at his birth in Kenya...."
That's enough for quite a few people to feel that Barack Obama isn't an American. No way, now how.
Not From the Vast Right Wing ConspiracyA high-profile advocate of the Obama-isn't-American cause is a former deputy attorney general of Pennsylvania, Philip J. Berg. He's a Democrat.
While that lends a little credence to the story, I am not convinced. At all.
A Major Political Party Runs an Illegal Candidate: Wouldn't this be News?!For starters, it's illegal for someone who is not an American citizen, and born in America, to be president. That's one reason why we won't have a President Schwarzenegger.
If the Democratic Presidential candidate's immigration status disqualified him this would be a huge news item.
I suppose it's remotely possible that one or two American newspapers, like The New York Times, might decide that a major American party nominating an illegal candidate wasn't 'fit to print.' I can't, however, imagine that CNN, Fox News, the Associated Press, United Press International, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, PBS, Reuters, and all the rest, would decide to ignore it.
Actually, a Fox News column did mention the Internet rumors about Barack Obama's birth:
"I have thought the emails a waste of keyboard time and have ignored them.
... I now think Senator Obama should release his birth certificate but I also think, to be fair, so should the other 3….yes, all 4. ... it is not fair to Senator Obama ... Let's see them….and then let's move on."

Is Obama Really an American?Short answer: yes.
He was born in Hawaii.
He had dual citizenship (American/Kenyan) until he was 21. After that, he's been an American citizen. Period.
I'll admit that Barack Hussein Obama has a funny-sounding name. And he'd never be mistaken for people with real American names, like Taylor, or Johnson, or Schrecengost, or Bongiardina, or Ng.
But the days when all Americans had proper British names and proper British accents are over. Deal with it.
