Constitution Day, September 17, 2007.
This is the day Americans, those who know about it, at least, celebrate the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution of the United States of America. This year is the 220th anniversary of the event.
This is part of what the war on terror is about. That Constitution and its amendments spell out how America's government works, what rights, and what responsibilities, we and our representatives have.
So, here's to the oldest, and the shortest, national constitution in the world.
It's not perfect, but it's the best we've got.
Check out "Constitution Day."
Our constitution is the shortest?
